Inclusion and accessibility take center stage in language teaching with Prof. Erika Avakova, visiting scholar from Brusov State University in Yerevan. On Tuesday, May 5, Room 2.6 will host a two-session event dedicated to instructional strategies for inclusive and accessible foreign language teaching.
Starting at 10:10 AM, the session “Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in Teaching Foreign Languages: Strategies for Inclusive Classrooms” will take place, followed by “Digital and Assistive Technologies for Accessibility” at 11:50 AM.
The event is open to undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students, as well as academic staff. It offers a valuable opportunity to explore inclusive teaching methodologies and the application of digital and assistive technologies to foster accessibility in foreign language education.
