Registration is now open for the Introductory Italian Sign Language (LIS) Workshop (3 ECTS / Category D), organized by the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Verona as part of the Excellence Project “Inclusive Humanities: Development Perspectives in Research and Teaching of Foreign Languages and Literatures.”
The workshop offers students the opportunity to acquire basic knowledge regarding interaction and communication with Deaf individuals, with a special focus on linguistic, social, and cultural aspects. 3 ECTS credits (Category D) will be awarded for all Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs within the Languages area.
The knowledge acquired can be applied within academic studies and, looking ahead, across various professional contexts, promoting inclusive practices.
