“Stories That Matter: Rethinking Disability through Literature, Culture, and Storytelling”: this is the title of the international conference taking place on Friday, May 15, starting at 9:30 AM in the Co-Working Room (Department of Languages, mezzanine floor). Organized by Chiara Battisti, Paola Carbone, Sidia Fiorato, and Anja Meyer, the event will bring together experts in Disability Studies and Medical Humanities to examine the representation of disability in literary and cultural narratives.

Through an interdisciplinary approach, the conference explores how disability is narrated, interpreted, and reimagined across diverse contexts and traditions.
Stories have the power to change how we see the world; therefore, ample space will also be dedicated to inclusive teaching practices and new forms of digital storytelling.
