The first free and public performance of Festivabìlia 2024 will take place on Friday, November 8, at 9:00 PM at Teatro Camploy (Via Cantarane 32, VR), with the title:
THE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT STORY OF THE LIFE OF CICCIO SPERANZA

An inspired piece of writing, in which playwright Alberto Fumagalli explores life’s hardships (a complicated family existence on the fringes of society) with flashes of true poetry. The rigid, patriarchal daily life of a farming family unfolds in tune with the passing seasons, but also with the growing desire for emancipation of Ciccio, the second son—a dreamer despite everything. His aspiration to become a dancer (complete with a pink tutu that fuels prejudice) stands out, especially given his imposing physique.
