Episode 25 of our podcast Inclusioni is now online! Today, we discuss ELF – English as a Lingua Franca – exploring how teaching it can serve as a vehicle to convey the principles of global citizenship, delivering values and skills of universal scope.
And speaking of “global” citizenship, our guest today is Luciane Sturm, Full Professor of Applied Linguistics at Universidade de Passo Fundo (Brazil). She is visiting Verona as part of the PNRR project “Green and Pink for Sustainable Education“, which strengthens international cooperation between Italian universities and global institutions.
Hosting the conversation, which is conducted in English, are Valeria Franceschi and Claudio Bendazzoli, professors of English Linguistics at our department who collaborate directly with Luciane on these research topics.
The episode is available on Spotify and all major podcast platforms.
