Olboblo. Arte potenziale 2025-2026

The opening of the second edition of the exhibition “OLBOBLO – Arte potenziale” (Potential Art) will take place on Thursday, October 9. The exhibition is the result of an agreement between the Academy of Fine Arts of Verona and our department, developed as part of the “Inclusive Humanities” Excellence Project. The opening event will begin at 4:30 PM in the Co-Working Room of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, mezzanine floor (Lungadige Porta Vittoria 41, Verona).

Dedicated to the themes of inclusion and disability, as well as ecology and sustainability, this year’s exhibition is curated by Alice Barbieri, a student in the Master’s Degree program in Cultural Mediation of Art at the Academy, coordinated by Prof. Daniela Rosi. Held along the department’s corridors—famous for their iconic orange porthole-shaped windows (oblò)—the exhibition will run until September 2026. It features the work of four young artists, current students and alumnae of the Academy: Celeste Bombardieri, Federica Cortese, Chiara Salin, and Selene Tenca. Their artworks range from video installations and engravings to illustrations for a theatrical script and glass sculptures.

Following the official welcome addresses, visitors will be taken on a guided tour led by the Curator, which will be followed by a social gathering.
