Presentazione della proiezione Vieni, vieni più vicino in aula co-working. In cattedra Nicoletta Vicentini e Giulia Gussago.

On Friday, October 11, as part of the initiatives for “Festivabìlia Coming Soon,” the short film “Come, Come Closer” was screened, featuring Giulia Gussago, artistic director of Compagnia Lyria and the Verziano Project. The project was launched in 2011 with the aim of raising awareness on the integration between the prison system and civil society.

“Come, Come Closer” is the title of the video that condenses the gestures and words that emerged over five months of meetings, dances, expectations, farewells, embraces, stories, and commotion. It is the final outcome of a project at the Verziano Correctional Facility, conducted by Compagnia Lyria. Nineteen inmates and eighteen free citizens participated in contemporary dance and creative writing workshops held from January to May 2019. The film also features, as witnesses, representatives of various institutions, collaborators, friends, and a former inmate who now actively promotes the project at conferences held annually in various schools.
