The sixth episode of Inclusioni is online

The sixth episode of Inclusioni, the podcast channel of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures in collaboration with Fuori Aula Network, is now available on major podcast platforms. In this episode, entitled “Machine Translation and AI: trick or treat”, the hosts discuss linguistic technologies, translation and interculturality.

In what ways can AI and automatic translation contribute to the inclusion of foreign language teaching? What is the role of human translation in an environment that seems dominated by tools like Google Translate and ChatCPT? What are the challenges faced while translating minority languages such as Armenian?

Daniele Artoni, Associate Professor of Slavic Studies at the University of Verona, and Ishkhan Dadyan, translation scholar from Yerevan State University in Armenia, will explore these topics.

Happy listening!
