This workshop focuses on Digital Scholarly Editions (DSE), with particular attention to inclusion and \u201cminimal computing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"395\" data-end=\"470\"><strong data-start=\"399\" data-end=\"468\">DH AND TEXTUAL SCHOLARSHIP. THE CASE OF DIGITAL SCHOLARLY EDITION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"471\" data-end=\"567\">Dates: May 19\u201320, 2025<br data-start=\"497\" data-end=\"500\" \/>Time: 10:00 a.m. \u2013 12:00 p.m.<br data-start=\"533\" data-end=\"536\" \/>Location: Co-working Room<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"569\" data-end=\"810\">These sessions will explore the fundamental methodologies and data for textual analysis and interpretation within Digital Humanities. We will also discuss the technologies used in creating a digital edition, from markup to final publication.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"817\" data-end=\"906\"><strong data-start=\"821\" data-end=\"904\">HOW TO PUBLISH A DIGITAL SCHOLARLY EDITION? A SURVEY ON THE EXISTING FRAMEWORKS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"907\" data-end=\"996\">Dates: May 22\u201323, 2025<br data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"936\" \/>Time: 10:00 a.m. \u2013 12:00 p.m.<br data-start=\"969\" data-end=\"972\" \/>Location: Room 1.6<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1422\">This session will provide an overview of the frameworks currently available for publishing encoded texts. Practical examples will be presented on transforming XML files into HTML using CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript (such as TEIViewer and TEI Boilerplate). More advanced online publishing platforms and frameworks will also be examined, including CETEIcean, Version Machine, Edition Visualization Technology, and TEI Publisher.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1429\" data-end=\"1503\"><strong data-start=\"1433\" data-end=\"1501\">DH, INCLUSION AND MINIMAL COMPUTING. WORKSHOP ON STATIC SITE DSE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1504\" data-end=\"1593\">Dates: May 28\u201329, 2025<br data-start=\"1530\" data-end=\"1533\" \/>Time: 10:00 a.m. \u2013 12:00 p.m.<br data-start=\"1566\" data-end=\"1569\" \/>Location: Room 1.6<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1595\" data-end=\"1899\">This workshop will allow participants to work directly with the Jekyll static site generator and the Ed. template. It will also explore the potential of so-called \u201cminimal computing\u201d in terms of accessibility and sustainability, reflecting on how these practices can make digital editions more inclusive.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1906\" data-end=\"2162\">The six lectures, which will be held in English, are open to all students and interested PhD candidates.
