In this episode, entitled <em data-start=\"300\" data-end=\"384\">\u201c<\/em>Modern Heroines of Ukraine: Women Resisting, Rescuing, and Fighting for Freedom<em data-start=\"300\" data-end=\"384\">,\u201d<\/em> we will hear how Ukrainian women have played &#8211; and continue to play &#8211; a key role in the cultural resistance of their people.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"1147\">We interviewed Tetiana Zhukova, an expert in human rights and international law, who works in collaboration with the UN, the EU, the Council of Europe, and the OSCE to prosecute war crimes and human rights violations in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, recounting stories of women who have been imprisoned, tortured, and killed.<br data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"854\" \/>The interview, conducted in English, was curated by doctoral students Diana Bota and Khrystyna Yordan, who\u2014together with Professors Anna Giust and Daniele Artoni &#8211; coordinate the series of <em>events \u201c<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/u.garr.it\/A0iKM\">\u0407\u0407 Her: Dimensions of Ukrainian Womanhood<\/a><em>,\u201d<\/em> in which Zhukova was a guest for the second session.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1149\" data-end=\"1165\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Happy listening!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Inclusioni - EP 14 - Modern Heroines of Ukraine: Women Resisting, Rescuing, and Fighting for Freedom\" src=\"https:\/\/widget.spreaker.com\/player?episode_id=65590512&amp;theme=dark&amp;chapters-image=true\" width=\"100%\" height=\"200px\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The fourteenth episode of Inclusioni, the podcast channel of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Verona, produced in collaboration with Fuori Aula Network, is now available on the main platforms.
