{"id":1622,"date":"2024-10-18T07:23:51","date_gmt":"2024-10-18T07:23:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inclusivehumanities.barbaravignoli.it\/segui-fossy-per-una-didattica-museale-inclusiva\/"},"modified":"2024-10-22T06:54:14","modified_gmt":"2024-10-22T06:54:14","slug":"follow-fossy-for-inclusive-museum-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/inclusivehumanities.eu\/en\/follow-fossy-for-inclusive-museum-education\/","title":{"rendered":"Follow Fossy for Inclusive Museum Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The &#8220;Festivab\u00eclia Coming Soon&#8221; continues on Monday, October 21 at 4:30 PM with the event &#8220;Follow Fossy: Accessible Tours Between Museum Education and Inclusion&#8221;, which will take place in the Co-working room with Dr. Anna Checchinato, educator and founding member of Oltre Magy\u2019s O.d.V.<\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with the Verona Natural History Museum, Oltre Magy\u2019s has designed and created two accessible museum tours: &#8220;FOLLOW FOSSY: 12 STORIES TO NARRATE THE MUSEUM.&#8221; &#8220;Follow Fossy&#8221; is a project aimed at designing and creating accessible museum experiences. Promoted by Oltre Magy\u2019s, a volunteer organization from Verona whose members have diverse professional skills and personal experiences in the field of disability, it was designed for visitors with mobility disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>The mission of Oltre Magy\u2019s is to recognize barriers (architectural, physical, perceptual, and cultural) in order to make museum and natural spaces accessible to everyone, with autonomy and safety. The fundamental value of Oltre Magy\u2019s activities is the Person, who is placed at the centre of every project.
